What happens during the treatment?
After discussion an initial sample shape and colour will be applied for you to preview the finished result. A topical anesthetic is then applied to minimise any discomfort, the pigment is tattooed into the skin and on completion a healing balm is applied to the area. A second appointment is necessary to top up the colour.
How soon can I go out?
This varies from client to client but usually you can go back to your day to day business immediately. Some clients may experience some redness and swelling that should subside within 48 hours. Initially the colour will be darker on application but will lighten by about 30%.
How long will the effects last?
This varies because the colour sits on the dermis of the skin, it will gradually fade over a three to five year period. We recommend a retouch within two years to maintain freshness.
